  1. EPSREAD.ME

  3. This update to the Epson Stylus SuperDriver is for SuperPrint
  4. 3.10 and 3.11 users ONLY.  If you have any other version of 
  5. SuperPrint DO NOT install this update.  The update adds the new 
  6. PackBits compression to the Epson Stylus printer.  This SuperDriver 
  7. is not for the Epson Color Stylus printer.
  8.  
  9. To install the new Epson Stylus SuperDriver:
  10.  
  11. 1. Copy SD_EPSTY.DRV, SD_EPSTY.HLP and SD_EPSTY.INF into your 
  12.    WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.  Overwrite files when prompted.
  13.  
  14. 2. After the update the following files in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM 
  15.    directory should be dated:
  16.    SD_EPSTY.DRV  18 May 95        8,544KB
  17.    SD_EPSTY.INF  19 Jul 94          693KB
  18.    SD_EPSTY.HLP  28 Jun 94        10,867KB

  20. 3. Exit Windows and restart Windows.
  21.  
  22. 4. Delete the file SD_EPSTY.INI from your WINDOWS directory.
  23.  
  24. 5. Go into the Contol Panel, Printers and check the printer
  25.    Setup for your Epson Stylus SuperDriver.  Make sure 
  26.    the correct model of printer is selected and the options 
  27.    you want are selected.

  29. 6. Try printing normally. 
  30.
